Eddy H. Luh, MD, FSVS, RPVI, FACS Vascular Surgeon

Dr. Eddy H Luh MD graduated from Cornell University. He then received his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. Dr. Luh completed his General Surgery residency here in Nevada at the University of Nevada Affiliated Hospitals. He then trained under legendary Dr Michael E. DeBakey at the world-renowned Methodist Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX where he completed a residency in Vascular Surgery.

H. Barrett McDaniel, MD, FACS

H. Barrett McDaniel, MD, FACS, Vascular Surgeon

H. Barrett McDaniel, M.D. graduated from The University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1993. He completed his general surgery internship and residency in 2000 from Indiana University Medical Center. In 2002, Dr. McDaniel concluded a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2002, he began his service as a tactical physician with the Jackson-Hinds SWAT team and in 2003 as a flight surgeon with the United States Air Force Reserves.

Sai M. Kottapalli, DO, RPVI

Sai M. Kottapalli, DO, RPVI, Vascular Surgeon

Dr. Sai M. Kottapalli completed his undergraduate education from University of Toronto in Human Biology in 2011. He went on to obtain his Masters in medical sciences from Boston University School of Medicine in 2013. He completed his medical degree from University of New England COM, Maine in 2017 and was accepted to the direct Integrated Vascular Surgery residency program at University of Buffalo. He has 5 years of training in Vascular Surgery.

Peter Lee, DO, RPVI Vascular Surgeon

Dr. Lee earned his bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Behavior from Columbia University in New York. He then obtained his masters degree in medical sciences from Drexel University College of Medicine before completing his medical degree from Midwestern University Arizona COM. He completed his 5-year general surgery training in New York at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital before journeying to Michigan where he completed his 2-year Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University.

Amir Ghaffarian

Dr. Amir Ghaffarian, MD, RPVI Vascular Surgeon

Dr. Ghaffarian completed his bachelor’s degree and medical school at the University of Utah. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society for being in the top 10% of his medical school class. He then completed a 5-year integrated vascular surgery residency at the University of Washington. During his training, he was awarded the best presentation award 9 times at regional and national vascular surgery conferences. His research focus was on surgical techniques in vascular access, popliteal artery entrapment syndrome, and surgical outcomes of complex aortic disease. Dr. Ghaffarian has authored multiple surgical education modules and book chapters. He is currently on the editorial board for the vascular SCORE curriculum for trainee education.

Kaitlyn Choy

Kaitlyn M. Choy, MSN FNP-BC, Nurse Practitioner

Kaitlyn M. Choy studied human physiology and biology at the University of Oregon. She then completed her accelerated bachelor’s of nursing from Roseman University of Health Sciences in Henderson. She obtained her master’s degree in nursing as a family nurse practitioner from Columbus State University. Kaitlyn has been with Vegas Vascular Specialists since 2021.
Kaitlyn is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is an experienced surgical first assist nurse practitioner.
