- We performed the first-ever implanted thoracic branched endograft in the state, marking a major breakthrough in minimally invasive aortic repair techniques.
- The first internal iliac branched endograft procedure in Nevada was successfully completed by us. This expanded the treatment options for patients with complex pelvic artery aneurysms.
- By far, we have achieved the highest number of physician-modified endografts in the state, exceeding others by a factor of ten. Our vascular surgeons in Las Vegas continue to lead the way in complex endovascular reconstruction, ensuring the best outcomes for patients across the state.
- We have also performed the first Transcarotid Arterial Revascularization (TCAR) in Nevada, introducing a safer, less invasive solution for treating carotid artery disease.
- Alongside this, we completed the most TCAR procedures statewide, by a factor of ten, leading the state with a record number of successful, life-saving interventions.
- Introduced the first percutaneous transluminal angioplasty and bypass (PTAB) procedure in Nevada, expanding the scope of advanced endovascular treatment options for complex arterial conditions.
- The first “candy-plug”/TEVAR procedure for complicated thoracic aortic dissection in the state was also done by us, setting a new benchmark for emergency vascular interventions.
- Implemented the first laser fenestration for PMEG AAA in Nevada, providing a tailored and highly effective solution for complex abdominal aortic aneurysms.
- We have also led the way with the first IVC and iliac vein recanalization in the state, restoring proper blood flow and helping patients recover from severe vein blockages that restricted circulation.
